CHICAGO—Is there anything serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk doesn’t do? Answer: probably not. For this reason, Profile magazine, a publication of Guerrero Media, is thrilled to feature the VaynerMedia cofounder as the cover star of its Disruptors Issue. The famous forward-thinker, who also goes by Gary Vee, is probably best known for investing early in fledgling companies that would go on to be major success stories, including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Airbnb.
“Gary Vaynerchuk was the obvious choice for the cover of our Disruptors issue,” said Profile Managing Editor Frannie Sprouls. “His philosophy and passion for disruption is a breath of fresh air, especially after a year of unforeseen change.”
Vaynerchuk, who also cofounded the popular restaurant reservation platform Resy, has come a long way since he worked for his father’s wine business. Today, he stands as a prime example of how being passionate about work is the true motivator that leads to success.
“In an age where popular opinion rules and herd mentality is ever present, Gary is someone who flat out thinks, says, and does differently,” said Guerrero President and Group Publisher Kyle Evangelista. “Not only has he done this for himself, but he also has a strikingly profound way of communicating with others and empowering them to think critically and act in their own best interest which, for many, is incredibly difficult to do. He is someone who has proven he can break the cycle and empower others to do as well.”
